Pietrangelo dished out a pair of helpers in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Senators. He also skated to a plus-2 and fired four shots on goal. The points snapped a six-game pointless streak for Pietrangelo, who is the classic example of a player being significantly more valuable on the ice than in fantasy. There's no doubt that the Olympic gold medalist is one of the best defensemen in hockey, but he's clearly been surpassed in fantasy value by fellow Blues rearguard Kevin Shattenkirk, who has seven more points, and is 11 ticks higher in the plus/minus department while spending nearly three minutes less per game on the ice. All that being said, Pietrangelo is still a productive fantasy blueliner who deserves to be owned in all leagues.
