EDGE Analysis
Larkin got the Red Wings off to a quick start, opening the scoring 5:25 into the game. He faked a shot at the top of the left circle, crept in closer and roofed a wrister past Montreal netminder Jake Allen for his second goal of the year. That was the lone highlight of the night for Detroit, which yielded the next six goals as Montreal picked up its first win of the year. Larkin has points in three of his first four games, amassing four points and 12 shots with 12 PIM.
