Phoenix Coyotes winger Brett MacLean has played his final game of professional hockey. The good news for MacLean, who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while playing pick-up hockey this summer, is that he's feeling much better with every passing day. Due to a monitor that was implanted after the incident, MacLean is unable to participate in contact sports, but he has turned his focus to turning this into a positive experience. "When I was in the hospital, I had a tough time with why this happened to me," said MacLean. "I've worked hard my whole life and I've eaten well and done the right things. ... But now I look at it like at least I'm still here and at least I'm healthy. I'm looking at the bright side. If I can help other people in the future then it's all worth it."
