Petry will join the Canadiens in San Jose on Monday, Arpon Basu of LNH.com reports. Petry was traded from the Oilers to the Canadiens on Monday in exchange for a pair of draft picks, and it seems possible he could dress for his new team. He will likely need to get in some practice with the Canadiens before joining them for a game, but a decision on his status should come at some point Monday prior to the opening face-off.
