Petr Sykora wants to re-sign with the Devils. "It doesn't matter what happens this playoffs," Sykora said. "I want to play next year. I've felt this season the best I've felt in a long time. So, I will play. I'm not sure where. I would love to play in the NHL. I would love to play here for the New Jersey Devils, but you never know what's going to happen." Sykora's NHL career was on the ropes when attended the Devils' training camp on a tryout basis. However, he won a spot with the team and went on to score 21 goals and 44 points in 82 games this season.
