Peter Budaj was beaten four times in regulation and twice in the shootout in Montreal's 5-4 loss to Buffalo on Thursday night. The Canadiens backup was making his second start of the season after he allowed five goals on 27 shots in a 5-1 loss to Ottawa on Jan. 30. He was better against the Sabres despite allowing four goals, as he faced 40 shots. He won't see much action behind workhorse Carey Price.
