EDGE Analysis
His second-period goal wasn't pretty as he kept battling at the net and poked a loose puck under the pad of Los Angeles' Jamie Quick. It was the type of goal coaches love -- a player at the net, putting in the effort. That's not typical of Perron, but that kind of play has been contagious during St. Louis' five-game winning streak. The streaky Perron has posted points in four of his last five games.
