Perreault scored a goal and handed out two assists -- one on the power play -- in Thursday's 5-4 win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault made beautiful music with Bryan Little -- who recorded four points of his own -- en route to an impressive (if ultimately meaningless) win. Up until the Jets-Devils game originally scheduled for March 14, Perreault was heading for a downright ugly season with just 28 points and a minus-12 rating through 53 contests. But since that game in New Jersey got snowed out, Perreault has absolutely exploded offensively, compiling a ridiculous 17 points (seven on the power play) in 11 games. He's now set a new career high in points with 45, which no one would have thought likely or perhaps even possible a month ago.
