Pavel Datsyuk will miss tonight's game on Long Island with what he describes as a lower-body injury that is not serious. His absence against the Islanders is more precautionary and the veteran forward expects to be in the lineup Thursday at home against Phoenix. Datsyuk says he was injured during Sunday's game at Chicago. He scored the game-winner in OT and logged 21:25 versus the Central Division rivals. Datsyuk is 13-30-43 in 41 games.
