Pavel Datsyuk did not play in the third period Thursday due to a lower body injury. Coach Mike Babcock was fairly certain in the locker room after the game that his star center would not miss any action and that it was just precautionary. "He's fine," Babcock said. "It's not a tear, nothing like that." The Red Wings were leading 5-1 heading into the third so Babcock obviously thought the lead was safe. Stay tuned and hope Babcock was telling the truth.
