Patrick Sharp will join Team Canada at the upcoming IIHF World Hockey Championship tournament. Sharp's season came to an end on Monday night in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs after six games against the Phoenix Coyotes. He had just one goal on 24 shots in the series. Sharp accounted for 33 markers and 69 points over 74 contests in the regular season for the Blackhawks.
