Parise will miss Thursday's game against the Predators due to what coach Mike Yeo described as a "nagging" injury, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. With the Wild having clinched a playoff berth with a win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday, Parise will be given the night off to recuperate from the wear and tear he's accumulated over the season. The injury shouldn't be viewed as anything that will limit Parise going forward, as Yeo suggested that Parise and the other two regulars that will sit out Thursday (Nino Niederreiter and Thomas Vanek) would play in Saturday's regular-season finale in St. Louis.
