Parise collected a pair of empty-net assists in Thursday's Game 1 win over the Blues. They're cheap points, but Parise won't complain about the chance to pad his stats with no one in the opposing net. Whatever nagging ailment bothered him at the end of the year seems to no longer be an issue.
