Parenteau will begin the season on the top line with John Tavares and Andrew Ladd, Andrew Battifarano of Islanders Point Blank reports.

Coach Jack Capuano loves to change up his lines so just because Parenteau will start the season on the top line doesn't mean it will be a long term thing. The bottom line is if Parenteau has chemistry with Tavares and produces, he will stay, if not, Capuano will play rotating wings once again.
