Parenteau, who started Thursday night on the top line, was eventually moved to the third line with Lars Eller and Rene Bourque in Montreal's 2-1 shootout win over Washington. This was not a reflection of Parenteau's work, but rather it was head coach Michel Therrien tweaking the lines after his team was out-shot, 15-2, in the first period. Parenteau had what appeared to be a goal in the third period, but it was waved off due to Rene Bourque interfering with the goalie.
