Parenteau scored a power-play goal in Friday night's 2-1 loss to the Sabres. It was his third man-advantage goal this season. The Canadiens had practiced a new power-play strategy during the week, going with four forwards instead of three. Head coach Michel Therrien was reluctant to use that alignment during Montreal's first two power plays but did so on their final chance, which produced Parenteau's goal. We suspect the coach will deploy the four-forward attack when the two teams meet Saturday night at the Bell Centre.
