Parenteau notched the Devils' only goal in a 4-1 loss Sunday to San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
This goal marks the first time Parenteau has lit the lamp since Jan. 6. Being on the fourth line, the winger rarely finds himself with more than 15:00 TOI in a game, yet he consistently clocks valuable power-play minutes. The 33-year-old usually finishes seasons with around 40 points, and despite his inability to find the twine lately, he can definitely achieve that mark again this year (25 points, 53 games). Now having one goal and five assists in the past 10 games, Parenteau is making himself a more consistent player that could be very valuable if his ice time increases.
