Palmieri assisted on both goals in Sunday's loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
One of the helpers came on the power play, where Palmieri has been manning the point on the second unit. After exploding for 30 goals in his first season with the Devils, he's only potted four so far this year. Palmieri does have 16 points and has been a good power-play producer, but his overall production is lacking for a top-line forward who came off a career-high season and is in the prime of his career. His top-six role makes him worth owning in some deep leagues, but the goal scoring has been too inconsistent for him to be trusted in shallow formats right now.
