P. A. Parenteau's name might be removed from trade consideration now that Alex Tanguay is lost for the remainder of the season because of hip surgery. The Avalanche could use his offensive support up front even though it's been a tough campaign for him thus far. Parenteau has 10 goals and 28 points in 46 matches after he led the team in goals (18) and co-led Colorado in points (43) in 48 outings during the lockout-shortened season.
