Dermott will not be available against Columbus on Tuesday after sustaining a shoulder injury, NHL.com's Dave McCarthy reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Sheldon Keefe didn't provide a specific timeline for Dermott's absence but it's not expected to sideline him as long as Mitch Marner's shoulder injury which will keep him out 3-4 weeks. In addition to Dermott, the Leafs will also be without Rasmus Sandin (knee) which means both Justin Holl and Timothy Liljegren should see a significant uptick in ice time.
