Ottawa GM Bryan Murray said Tuesday that Anderson will miss at least one week after aggravating the hand injury he first sustained Jan. 21, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports. The Senators have ruled out surgery as an option for the goalie, who is more specifically dealing with a deep bone bruise that flared up again after just two appearances since his return from IR. Murray said that Anderson will undergo another MRI just to determine that the injury isn't something more severe, but as a preventative measure against another setback, the goalie won't practice until he's 100 percent healthy. It's probably safe to assume that Anderson will be held out for beyond the week, and with Robin Lehner still slow to progress from a concussion, the Senators will pin their hopes of reaching the playoffs on Andrew Hammond, who has rolled to 10 wins in 11 starts since joining the team.
