Stephenson scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Kraken.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson sparked a passing play leading to the first of Max Pacioretty's two tallies in the contest. In the third period, Stephenson deflected a Mark Stone pass off his skate for the game-winning tally, which was upheld after video review. It's a fantastic start to the season for the Golden Knights' top line, and that's great news for Stephenson's fantasy managers. He put up 35 points in 51 games last year in a top-line role, and it looks like he'll begin the year in the same spot. He's also maintained a shooting percentage north of 13 in each of his last four campaigns -- he's selective, but the 27-year-old should get good chances with star wingers to play with.
