He is slated to return to Winnipeg in the hopes of seeing the NHL regular season begin. If the lockout continues then he said he would explore his options overseas again, where he could end up in the KHL with a team like Spartak Moscow. Pavelec did not enjoy much success with Liberec, posting an .896 save percentage and a 3.50 GAA in 14 appearances, but he played well at the Karjala Cup last week.
