O'Brien signed a one-year, two way contract with the Panthers on Monday. O'Brien made the best of his training camp invite from the Panthers and will now be a part of their 2014-15 campaign. The 31-year-old hasn't had many opportunities on the ice for the past two years and that likely won't change during his time in Florida as he may spend most of his time in the minors anyways.
