Palmieri (lower body) will not be available Thursday against the Devils, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Palmieri was considered a game-time decision Thursday so it appears that he's nearing a return. The 30-year-old winger has just seven points through 25 games this season and hasn't played since Dec. 16. His next chance to play will be Saturday against the Capitals.
