Comeau (upper body) isn't expected to play in Thursday's regular-season opener versus the Rangers, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.

At this point it's safe to assume Comeau won't be available against New York, but the Stars will undoubtedly release another update on his status if he's able to gut it out and play in the season opener. Assuming Comeau is unable to go, Ty Dellandrea will likely draw into the lineup against the Rangers.
