It's been a rather ugly start to the year for both the Golden Knights as a team and Pietrangelo individually. The Ontario native has a minus-7 rating, 16 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and two PIM so far. With Alec Martinez (lower body) sidelined, Pietrangelo will likely be asked to focus on defense in the near term. He had 23 points in 41 contests last year, his first with the Golden Knights.
