Nikolay Zherdev reportedly was involved in an incident after signing with HC Lev Prague of the Kontinental Hockey League. Zherdev allegedly was involved in a bar fight, lost his passport, and got into an accident with his Bentley. Prague GM Rashid Khabibulin said that the team will not be taking any disciplinary action against Zherdev. At one time Zherdev was a raising star in the NHL, but he moved to the KHL and then had a less than ideal NHL comeback in 2010-11. After heading back to the KHL, he expressed interest in eventually attempting another comeback.
