Niklas Backstrom will be sidelined for two-to-four weeks because of a groin strain. Although Backstrom should return before the end of the season, the Wild will have to find a way to win without him if they want to have any chance of making the playoffs. He has a 17-17-6 record, 2.44 GAA, and .920 save percentage in 42 games this season. With Backstrom sidelined, Josh Harding should get the bulk of the Wild's starts.
