Niklas Backstrom struggled on Monday night as he allowed five goals on 28 shots in a 5-1 loss to Chicago. Backstrom has yet to find his stride after an excellent season in last year's shortened schedule. After he battled an early-season injury, the goaltender's record now stands at 1-1-2 with a 3.42 GAA and an .871 save percentage.
