Nik Antropov signed a two-year contract with Astana Barys of the KHL. Antropov becomes the latest Jet to head to Russia, following Alex Burmistrov and several others. Antropov never lived up the hype of being the 10th overall pick in 1998, but he did fashion a solid 13-season NHL career that included stops in Toronto, New York, Atlanta and Winnipeg. We're betting this is likely the last we've seen of Antropov in North America. He scored 193 goals and 465 points in 788 career NHL games.
