Niemi was making his first start since Feb. 14 and he might have bought himself another assignment after turning aside the top-notch offense of the Pens. He has allowed three or fewer goals in each of his past three starts. Niemi cannot yet be trusted outside of the deepest of fantasy formats, but he appears to be turning a corner after a tough season to date.
