Nicklas Lidstrom is currently tied for fourth place amongst blueliners with 19 points in 25 games. He may be 41, but we've learnt at this point to never bet against him. Who knows if this will be his last season, but the Red Wings will surely offer him another contract if he wants to extend his career. He's 89 points away from Larry Murphy, who is fifth on the all-time defensemen leaderboard. Obviously, Lidstrom won't reach him this season, but he might end up surpassing him before he hangs up his skates.
