Nicklas Backstrom had two points in the Capitals' 3-2 win over the Flyers on Friday night.
The talented center potted his first goal of the year and had an assist. While Alex Ovechkin (seven shots) didn't find the score sheet, the fact Backstrom did is a great sign for the Caps, who have started off the season very slowly -- entering the game he was fourth on the team in points. Wojtek Wolski and Troy Brouwer recorded the other markers in the win. Matt Hendricks had 15 penalty minutes.
