NHL teams might just want to take a look at Nikolay Zherdev after his KHL team Atlant terminated his contract on Saturday. Zherdev didn't develop the greatest reputation in the NHL, but his production was pretty solid for much of his time there, peaking with 61 points in 82 games during the 2007-08 season with Columbus. After a 74-point debut in 53 KHL contests in 2011-12, he struggled a bit between Atlant and Ak-Bars this past season. Still, he could be intriguing if the price is right.
