New York Islanders extend qualifying offer to Joshua Bailey. Bailey and the Isles are reportedly involved in contract negotiations as GM Garth Snow attempts to lock up one of the team's young building blocks. Although he's never really lived up to expectations, Bailey still scored 11 goals and 19 points in 38 games last season and stands to get at least a decent raise.
