Neuvirth made 30 saves in a 2-1 loss to the Kings on Saturday in his first start since Dec. 15.

It was a strong performance for a guy who had missed the last five games because of illness. Neuvirth is 8-5-2 on the season with strong ratios and he's been the better of the two two goaltenders in Philly. It could just be a matter of time before Neuvirth becomes the guy who earns the heavy burden of starts in a goaltending platoon.
