Nathan Horton didn't play in the third period on Sunday after he sustained a head injury against the Philadelphia Flyers. Philadelphia's Tom Sestito caught him with a blindside hit early in the second period and Horton reacted unfavorably to the play, which earned him an interference penalty. Coach Claude Julien wasn't sure if Horton would be available for Tuesday's game in Washington and it's uncertain if he suffered a dreaded concussion either. "I guess we'll find out in the next few days here," Julien said. "But we certainly didn't allow him to come back and play this game." Horton was diagnosed with a severe concussion during the Stanley Cup finals, so it can't be ruled out as a possibility until we get more information.
