Nate Thompson skated on Friday for the first time since sustaining a lower-body injury on Dec. 17 against Columbus. "It was a light skate for me, just to see how I feel and get the blood flowing and go from there," he said. "I'm not rushing back anything, just making sure I feel comfortable." Thompson isn't sure if he will be ready to return on Tuesday, but if he can return to practice on Monday then it might be a possibility.
