Nate Schmidt scored his second goal in the last two games on Sunday. It was quite a weekend for the defenseman who potted the first of his career on Saturday. He had some offensive capabilities in college hockey last season with nine goals and 32 points in 40 games so this may continue. We would wait for now and see if he is able to keep it up.
