Nate Schmidt is expected to make his NHL debut Saturday night. The 22-year-old was just called up from the AHL. He played in only eight games in the AHL last year after turning pro from the University of Minnesota, where he had 32 points in 40 games. He had a goal in his lone game with the Hershey Bears this season.
