Nash scored the game-winner in the third period of Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Islanders. While comparatively speaking, Nash's goal-scoring pace slowed as February closed out, three goals and two assists in his last five games has helped move him back into sole possession of second in the NHL with 39 goals. The veteran forward needs to find twine just two more times to tie his career-high of 41 goals set in his sophomore season (2003-04) with Columbus. Easily a candidate for comeback player of the year, Nash has 61 points and is a plus-24 through 64 games this season.
