Nabokov surrendered three goals on 21 shots, replacing Ben Bishop after the first period in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Penguins. Bishop was forced out of the game with a lower body injury, but the extent of it is unknown at this point. If he is out for an extended period of time, Nabokov could be in line to take over the starting duties in his absence. After Monday, the 39-year-old is 3-4-1 with a 2.99 GAA.
