Muzzin (undisclosed) appears to be nearing a return, but continues to await clearance to play from team doctors, Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com reports. Muzzin took part in some skating prior to Sunday's game against the Jets and seems to believe he's well-conditioned, but just needs clarification from the doctors that everything is sound on the health front. Brayden McNabb has taken his place on the defensive pairing with Drew Doughty for the past three games.
