Morrissey had a goal and an assist in AHL Manitoba's 4-3 win over Iowa on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Known for his offensive skills and puck-moving ability, Morrissey has just two goals and six points in 28 games this season. This comes on the heels of Morrissey racking up nine points in just 20 AHL playoff games last year. Morrissey gets a bit of a pass considering it is his first full professional season, but he has far too much ability to be producing so little. His stock as a top prospect is going to take a hit if he doesn't begin to turn his game around.
