Monahan was superb Monday, scoring twice -- including the game-winner -- and collecting an assist as the Flames brought down St. Louis 7-4.

The big center came out flying in the second period, potting two of the three Flames goals in the frame, the second of which held up as the game-winner. After a disappointing start to the season, Monahan has rattled off 10 points over his 10 games, giving him 51 in 68 games this year. All of a sudden, the 21-year-old is on a 60-point pace, so he could have an outside shot at topping last year's 62-point career-best sophomore effort.
