Mitchell (leg) will miss his third straight game Tuesday against the Predators, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports. It sounds like the Avalanche are viewing Mitchell as out indefinitely at this time, providing little clarity as to when he might be able to return to the lineup. The Avalanche have recalled Paul Carey and Borna Rendulic over the last two games to help round out their forward corps.
