Mitchell (leg) appears unlikely to play Wednesday against the Blackhawks after he left the Avs' morning skate in discomfort, Adrian Dater of the Denver Post reports. Mitchell was grimacing in pain as he exited the ice after apparently tweaking his existing leg injury, which will likely force him out of action for the third straight game. As a result, expect Ben Street to receive another look as the Avs' third-line center.
