Milan Lucic will become the second-highest-paid player on the Boston Bruins in 2013-14 thanks to his recent three-year, $18 million contract extension. The only player on the team who will earn more than him is team captain and defensive stalwart Zdeno Chara, who carries a cap hit of $6,916,667. "I know what the responsibility is now," Lucic said. "After spending five years in the league, I know how hard you have to play day in and day out in the NHL. I'm excited." The Boston power forward brings size, physicality and scoring the table which makes him a valuable member to his team and to fantasy leagues that give credit to rough and tumble players. Lucic can be counted on for hits, penalty minutes and points this season once the league and players iron out a new agreement.
