Milan Lucic had three assists in his previous two games heading into Wednesday's Game 7, but he was fairly silent in Washington's 2-1 overtime victory that propelled them into the second round of the playoffs. He had no points and no shots during his 19:50 of ice time and failed to produce a goal in the seven-game series. Lucic's regular linemate David Krejci was also held in check for the majority of the series with a goal and two assists, while Patrice Bergeron couldn't muster a single goal while playing through injury and Brad Marchand scored just once in the series. Boston's best players couldn't find a way to beat Capitals goalie Braden Holtby and they seemed to lack energy in Game 7 on Wednesday night.
